To all our school community
A big big thank you to all our community for a wonderful cake sale fundraising event today, organised by our super Parents’ Association. Your generosity knows no bounds. The cake sale yielded €1835 – a record breaking amount!
Wishing you all a really enjoyable midterm break.
Enjoy every minute.

Today in Hollypark we had our first lunchtime concert this year. We were treated to wonderful performances on the violin from Cliodhna, Deirdre, Ruth and Ciadhla. Not only did they play well but they also talked to us about the violin. Afterwards all our girls completed a worksheet. Miriam, one of our parents, also talked to the girls about the violin and other string instuments. She gave a wonderful rendition of the Lark in the Clear Air. We all listened carefully and thoroughly enjoyed the concert. Míle buíochas to Ms. de Fréin for organising the concert for us.
Just to let you know Hollypark Girls is having a Cake Sale this Friday, October 28. Happy baking. The Parents Association is organising this fundraiser.
We are also having a Fancy Dress on Friday – the girls may dress up in their Halloween costumes!
We are currently reviewing the school uniform. To make it easier for the girls we are considering introducing a full – zip tracksuit top. The present tracksuit top may still be worn of course.
Please make sure that the girls have a coat with them on cold days.
A big thank you to Winnie the Witch ( our wonderful P.A. ) for decorating our school for Halloween.
It was a great surprise for us all. The school foyer and corridors look wonderful. Of course the teachers too are busy decorating the classrooms. Do stop and look at all the wonderful work on the Notice Boards around the school.
We are all celebrating Halloween. The P. A. are organising a bring and buy cake sale for Friday, October 28th. in the school hall. So happy baking!
